Hi guys!

I know this is probably a recurrent demand/issue!

I cant seem to find much info, on what breaking changes there are with the 0.8 branch compared to 0.5.4, and how one could start experementing with it!

Any hints?

Thanks for all the great work!

The work-in-progress explainer is located at https://github.com/Polymer/polymer/blob/0.8-preview/PRIMER.md

There's still missing features and things that will change, details to be worked out, etc - but if you're exceedingly brave, experiment away.

I noticed that not even the core and paper elements have been ported to the 0.8 preview release yet, so it is very difficult to try out. Any word on when this will be easier?

The core and paper elements are being separated from Polymer Core and will be versioned up separately. The tentative plan is to have some of the elements ported over around the time 0.8 starts to roll out, but it will probably be a small subset. We want to make sure that 0.8 is in a good place first and foremost, then the grunt work of porting the elements can happen.
