Paper Datepicker under consideration?

Are we considering implementing an official Polymer date-picker at some point? 

There was a thread started about how the Material spec interprets date pickers here:


and I know that community members have been exploring Paper-* implementations of something similar like this:

We finished doing it by hand using momentjs too :D it is working as material design specification.

Hi,

Sure, I toke me a little to migrate to polymer 0.5.x because we are working on 0.4.2.

This is the github with the demo  https://github.com/Syncofy/calendar-date-picker

There are some minor issues, like transparencies and z-index, but generally  taking it works :D and it looks good.

I dont thing so, but you are free to use it as much as you want :D

If you found bugs or improvements, just create the issue in github and we will try to fix it as soon as possible.
