Polymer 0.5.4 on Chrome 38?

Hi All,

So I've been working on a polymer site, and currently working with polymer v0.5.4 components in development.  Some of my test users are playing around with the site on an Android tablet running Chrome v38.  It is initially not working for them, but works once they upgrade to the latest version of Chrome.  Is there a reason polymer 0.5.4 won't run on Chrome 38?  They have concerns that it is a recent browser (albeit not completely updated), and expect it to run on Chrome versions that aren't all that old without being forced to upgrade.

Thoughts?

ps:  I've tried both unvulcanized and vulcanized versions in Chrome 38...to no avail.  Works once upgraded to Chrome v40.
