The line "Note: these scripts can take some time to install." is not kidding.

A question about that, when we update the base from git do we need to run the full ./scripts/setup.sh ? Or is the release.sh script the way to go?

release.sh will update you to the last components/apps/demos in master for all of our repos and do a bower install where needed.

You should only need setup.sh the first time you check out the docs.
