Dear Admin,

I am working on behalf of a market research company to recruit participants for a market research study on Polycystic Liver Disease.

As you know, there is very little research into PLD and this is an opportunity for people who have the disease to have their voices heard.  Please find attached a flyer containing more detail about the research.  I would be very grateful if interested parties please contact me so that I can share more information about the research and next steps.

Best Regards,

Leanne

Hi there,

Apologies, I don't seem able to add an attachment.  The details are in this email and I can of course answer any questions you may have if you would like to contact me directly:

Just to highlight that the research is only open to residents of the United Kingdom.

TELEPHONE INTERVIEW STUDY ABOUT EXPERIENCES AMONG ADULTS WITH POLYCYSTIC LIVER DISEASE

Evolve Fieldwork Limited a market research company in the UK, and The Brod Group, a science-based health outcomes research group, is looking for participants to help us better understand the experiences of adults with polycystic liver disease.

We are looking for:

  • Adults who have been diagnosed with polycystic liver disease who are at least 18 years old

You will be asked to:

  • Participate in a 1-hour telephone interview to talk about your experiences with polycystic liver disease

OR

  • Complete a brief questionnaire about your experiences related to polycystic liver disease, followed by an interview where you will be asked about your experience completing the questionnaire (for example, did you understand the questions, were they relevant to your experience, etc.)
  • Your interview and questionnaire responses will not be kept or shared with healthcare provider. What you say during the interview will only be used to better understand the experiences of adult patients with polycystic liver disease
  • You will receive a payment of £80 for participating
Please do reply if you are interested in hearing more about the research and next steps.

Thanks very much!

Hi Leanne

Thank you for getting in touch.

I would very much like to take part as it has been a long frustration of mine that very little research has been carried out on PLD or is it very well known publicly.

I’m 49 from London and also have PKD.

hope to hear from you.

Kindest regards
Best

Celia

Not enough research is being done for both diseases in the UK especially given the effects particularly with PKD as it spreads between organs and treatment cost being high and long.

Hi Mark,

You are right – there does not seem to be a lot of research in this area.

Could I interest you in participating in our research?  You can contact me directly on Leanne....@evolve-fieldwork.com if you’d like more information.

Regards,

Leanne
