NYU says NO MONEY FOR POLY!

In the article in the Washington Square News it clearly states what
will surely be the end of Poly [http://www.nyunews.com/home/index.cfm?

On Thursday, Sexton also said that NYU's tuition dollars and endowment
would not be used to subsidize Polytechnic, although the university
might lend funds to the Brooklyn school.

"NYU might loan money to Poly secured on the air rights," McLaughlin
said.

Will ANYONE please start a lawsuit to stop this betrayal before our
degrees become toilet paper.

There will be absolutely NO money from NYU to help prop up Poly (the
loan will be a joke).

Their will be no Tier 1! There will be no nothing! NYU will not
certify our degree. What guarentees will we have when an employer
checks to verify my education and NYU says they do not have the
records and that the staff from Poly that managed them were let go.
NYU has no responsibility to maintaining those records. Poly does.
And Poly will not longer exist!

Please make your concerns known to the Administration and your alumni leadership by attending the Town Hall Meeting for Alumni on November 5th at 6pm at Poly.  Postcards will be mailed to alumni in the Metropolitan area, but please start passing the word around.
