from current information I got, There is no benefit at all for alumni.

Is there anything that alumni could do to prevent this merger ?

I think the best thing that can be done is for the alumni to:

1) Send their concerns and issues to mergerdi...@poly.edu so that
the administration can see them.
2) Send your feedback to the alumni leadership by e-mailing us at
polytec...@gmail.com

If all the main issues brought up by the position paper are properly
addressed then we have gone a long way from the bad original deal set
out in the MCC to something that all the stakeholders can actually
work with and maybe even be happy with.

So far, with very little time left before the first draft of the MOU
is be drafted there are many critical issues still left open and
unanswered.

HH,

There is no specific format, we just want to hear from the alumni
about their concerns so that we can communicate them and see what
issues most concern the alumni. We will be submitting a document to
the advisory council on the issues that we feel need to addressed in
order to satisfy alumni concerns.
