Greetings from the Finance and Investment Cell, St. Stephen's College!
We are proud to present and invite you to this year's edition of DreaMerger 2016, India's biggest and the most reputed case study tournament based on Mergers and Acquisitions. The only competition in the country of its kind.
Of the many events the society organizes throughout the year, DreaMerger last year attracted an outstandingly large participation from various colleges in India and abroad (1000+ teams).
The competition requires no prerequisite knowledge of M&A. DreaMerger is, in itself, a learning process which opens one's mind to the ever-changing world of business. All one needs is the ability to analyse, innovate and reason. Boost your problem-solving skills and come create a DreaMerger!
A brief overview of the structure of the competition is as follows:
Participation in teams up to 2 members (lone wolves are allowed). Cross- college teams are allowed.
ROUND 1:
The prelims involve solving a fictitious case study based on M&A.
(Offline and online rounds)
Date: 5th September 2016
Venue: St. Stephen's College
Time: Offline: 2:00 pm-4 pm
& 3:00 pm-5:00 pm
Online: 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
& 9:00 pm-11:00 pm
ROUND 2:
Case based on Adaptive Testing (Online round).
40 teams that qualify to this round will fill in the role of a real life consultant and solve a dynamic case put forth to you by their 'client'.
The round is expected to be in the end of September.

ROUND 3:
8 finalists will compete in this surprise round.
This round will be held in mid- October.
Venue: St. Stephen's College
(A detailed description will be given to those who qualify).
Previously DreaMerger has been judged by eminent personalities like Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani (Naukri.com), Mr. Anil Katyal (Country Head, Vodafone), Ms. Ramni Nirula (CEO, ICICI Securities), etc.
