Dear all,
It is my pleasure to share this opportunity with you. I contribute to a Dutch-based youth-led NGO called Horizons: Global Youth for Justice and Equality and we are currently organising our annual Study Trip to Palestine.
If you are committed to issues of peace and justice, if you are involved in intercultural dialogue and bridging East and West, don't miss this chance! The deadline is on Friday, 5 Aug!
The study trip to Palestine will take place between 6-13 Nov. You will be accompanied by members of the Horizons team and Horizon’s partners in Palestine through different areas of the region in order to engage in dialogue with Palestinian students, academics, NGO’s, politicians and visit Hebron, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, different universities and Palestine’s historical, cultural and religious sites. The goal is to bring different cultures together and promote understanding.
Costs: Accommodation, food and travel expenses within Palestine are covered by Horizons. Flight tickets are on the participants’ own expense + €50 administration fee. In addition, participants are expected to crowd-fund €250. We will support the participants in their crowd-funding campaign and provide them with sufficient time to raise the money.
Application: Send your CV + unedit video (3 min max) in which you should say why you would like to join the trip, how you intend to stay engaged upon your return and how you would like to contribute to Horizons in the upcoming year (check our projects in our website).
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
Best Regards,
Ludmila Dias Andrade
