I am sure that a number of us would like to help with this initiative.  Cheers, Peter

Dear pollinator friends and colleagues,

Happy Friday (night). As some of you may know - as part of my core work at FAO – I hope to inventory many of the current projects, initiatives and pollinator-related activities that are happening around the world. This builds on the work of Simon Potts et al completed recently – we want to showcase this work somehow and have it more visible to promote awareness, collaboration and networking opportunities. In addition to help provide options to governments for action where gaps exist.

More information can be found here: Survey invitation: Taking stock of initiatives, policies and instruments for the sustainable use and conservation of pollinators

If you know of anyone that is working on any type of pollinator project, initiative, network or know of a pollinator policy or legislation you can tell us about it here:

English:

https://www.surveymonkey.de/r/PollinatorSurvey2021

French:

https://www.surveymonkey.de/r/pollinisateurs2021

Spanish:

https://www.surveymonkey.de/r/polinizadores2021

Filling out this survey will help fill in some knowledge gaps we have about bees (pollinators) and can help the work of the FAO on invertebrate pollinators and the International Pollinator Initiative’s plan of action. We might not get everything but it’s a start 😊.

Thank you in advance for spreading the word and/or taking the survey yourself!

(this also gives me a chance to say hello to some of you I haven’t talked to in a while…)

Best,

Hien
