My research students and I have come across a honeybee that has two distinct pollen types on it. One we think is rosemary (the bush it was collected on) and the other we are not sure of. They occur in roughly equal proportions in the solution we washed off
of the bees (there were three collected and analyzed). Has anyone seen this elsewhere?
I have attached a picture from the microscope. Any help would be appreciated.
