first buzz about vibratile pollen removal by bees

Hey folks- I finally got around to reading this scholarly investigation by Herwig Teppner. Buzzing was recognized as a pollen foraging method at the turn of the 20th century (!), one of the discoverers being Schrottky in Paraguay. Amazing, really, and he gives other floral relations as well.  I've attached Teppner's fine paper (he even translates the relevant sections of Schrottky into English) and the web site for the original.
