Looking at purchasing on of the two drum programs using Ableton, I've heard better things about AD but was just curious what the consensus was? A friend of mine loves using Logic drums, pairing with the tempo and finding a beat that works. I was wondering which has the most versatility, friendlier user base etc. ?
You should never change the mapping of the BeatBuddy drumsets, as none of the existing beats available on it (or Premium Library) will play back properly. Changing the mapping of the plugins you are using is the way to go, which you are doing. Good on you.
