Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.
ABIT (later spelled abit) was a well-known manufacturer of consumer motherboards from Taiwan. Especially the overclocking capabilities via their jumperless SoftMenu and exotic concepts like the Dual-Celeron motherboard BP6 with Intels 440BX chipset or the first 440BX motherboard with a FSB of 133 MHz gave them their enthusiast-image. In 2004 they introduced a heat pipe based cooling system called OTES which is intended to transfer heat from the chipset and/or the voltage regulators out of the case through the I/O shield.
Download the latest BIOS update for your ABIT motherboard including the latest Beta BIOS if available (e.g. with Intel 45nm/E0 or AMD Phenom II support) and the latest tools for ABIT mainboards like the abit EQ and the abit uGuru software.
