I'm testing windows server 2016 and I noticed that there is still the old windows 7 calculator. Is there a way to get the new calculator that is in Windows 10? Is this a Desktop experience issue or is it just not in the build?I goggled but I can't find anything on this topic.

My problem its that I end up having multiple windows calculator instances open when modeling because everytime I click on the Calculator key on my keyboard it opens a new instance.
Is there a way to make that button switch to the already open calculator after the first time pressed?
Like a Alt+tab but without having to scroll through everything else open on my pc?

@alienclone Yep, I know the are Autoit calculators on the forums but this one every Windows user already has and it's very sophisticated and if Autoit can manipulate it then there is much potential to expand its use.

I've run into an odd issue regarding SEB and the calculator in WIndwos 10. Basically after adding the calculator as an allowed app I can launch SEB and press the button to launch the calculator but nothing will happen. Once I exit SEB the calculator will just be sitting on my desktop, so it looks like it launches but it just stays behind the SEB window until you exit.

My thinking right now is that it has to do with the fact that the calculator is now a modern app. Launching calc.exe seems to redirect to a new calculator.exe that lives in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\

Just wanted to add, the same config settings work when I add a third party calculator programs. I am now fairly certain that the prblem is related to the fact that the built-in calculator is a modern app.

We knew that already running on Window 8, it wasn't possible to use Modern-UI apps as third party applications in SEB, they behave completely different and on Windows 8 they anyways required the full screen more. On Windows 10 this is different, as those Universal Apps can run on the desktop in windows, but I guess they are started in a similar way, with other Windows processes being involved.

Unfortunately, UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps are currently not compatible with SEB (the calculator in Windows 10 is an UWP app). If you need a calculator, you will have to look for an (open source) alternative and add it as an allowed process.

I personally do not know any particular calculator application, but you'll surely find something on the internet. You could also allow a web-based calculator as additional resource, see the manual for further information: _usermanual_en.html#AdditionalResources.

The Windows 10 calculator is now open source. It would be cool if a compatible build was integrated into SEB. Or someone wiser than me figured out how to compile it to be compatible as a SEB "Additional Resources".

If you would rather not use the Windows installation file, we provide an alternative version of the calculator setup package as a simple Winzip self-extracting file. It contains the same files as Calculator.msi, and installs them in the same place, but the Winzip version of the calculator setup package does not create desktop and start menu shortcuts, and does not allow for uninstallation from the Control Panel.

After downloading the calculator, install it by executing the downloaded file. The InstallShield dialog boxes will guide you through the installation process. When it is finished, you will have a folder named Calculator with 32 files: anypia32.exe, anypia32.chm, 29 sample files, and a readme file (readme.txt). The default location for the folder is in a folder named SSA, inside your Program Files folder. There will also be an entry in your Start Menu and an alias on your desktop for the benefit calculator. To start the calculator, choose it from the Start Menu, or click the alias on the desktop.

Some people have encountered problems installing the detailed calculator on computers running Windows where the installation file is not allowed to write to the installation directory. If you encounter this problem, download the installation file to your machine as explained in the note above. Then try changing the installation directory from the default C:\Program Files\SSA Benefit Calculator\ to a directory outside of Program Files such as C:\SSA Benefit Calculator\. This works for most people. If this doesn't work for you, contact us using the link below.

The downloadable files are stored in a self-extracting archive. The 2023.2 version of the calculator and data, updated through 2022, is in the Anypia.dmg disk image file. Click on Anypia.dmg (10,306,970 bytes) to download the Mac OS version.

Install the calculator by expanding Anypia.dmg, which will create a disk image on your computer. Then run the Anypia.app program inside the disk image, which will prompt you to select a folder where you want the calculator installed. A folder called Benefit Calculator will be created in the folder you select. It contains 31 files: Anypia, 29 sample files, and a readme file (readme.txt). Start the calculator by double-clicking on Anypia.

The AWS Pricing Calculator includes a licensing and tenancy recommendations section. This section of the calculator simplifies the complex Windows Server and SQL Server licensing rules into several inputs. It also recommends an AWS tenancy for your workload. In this section, you enter your license details to determine your cost-optimized tenancy qualifications. For more information, see Licensing and tenancy recommendations.

I decided to add a calculator to demonstrate the licensing components of the per core Windows Server 2016 Licensing Model. The intent here is to give you a general idea of how many 2-Core Packs you may need and what it may cost to license Windows Server 2016. If you want more information on how the licensing works please check out my first article. Have fun!

I wrote a very detailed article explaining how the licensing breaks down between Standard and Datacenter at the following link: -takes-a-shot-at-vmware-with-windows-server-2016-licensing-changes-and-enforcement-push/

Windows Calculator is the official calculator application for Windows 10 and 11. Windows Calculator's app is one of the most complete that you can find for Windows since it not only offers several calculator modes but also has a multitude of converters.

In calculator modes, you find standard, scientific, programming, and graphing. With the scientific one, you have more advanced options, such as the possibility of using parentheses and visualizing complex calculations more comfortably. The programming calculator can easily convert to decimal, hexadecimal or binary. Finally, you have the graphing calculator to represent functions.

As for the converters, you can use the currency, distance, volume, temperature, weight, energy, area, velocity, time, data, pressure, or angle converters. In the case of currencies, the exchange rate is updated daily to provide the most accurate information possible. Finally, you can also use the difference calculator between two dates.

To develop a dialog-style application, you need to create a GUI class that inherits from QDialog, which is the base class of all dialog windows. A dialog window is a stand-alone window that you can use as the main window for your application.

You first create the empty dictionary self.buttonMap to hold the calculator buttons. Then, you create a list of lists to store the key labels. Each row or nested list will represent a row in the grid layout, while the index of each key label will represent the corresponding column on the layout.

ABG is a multipurpose medical calculator. The three calculators include functionality to:
1) Analyse arterial blood gasses
2) Output a recommended FIO2, given a determined pO2, FIO2 and a desired pO2

I likely list this as something on my resume, but I make sure to disambiguate what I mean - I've had experience administering Debian and RPM-based Linux servers, as well as being familiar with Bash, and having used desktop Linux for about twelve years now. The salary calculator needs to show that to us instead of the blanket term.
