1 grudnia swoje 90. urodziny obchodził pan Kazimierz Olejarczyk, człowiek-legenda naszej lokalnej społeczności polonijnej. Z tej okazji w niedzielę, 29 listopada, w Amerykańsko-Polskim Klubie Centurzystów w Sterling Heights miała miejsce bardzo wzruszająca uroczystość celebrująca ten wspaniały jubileusz. W niedzielę, 15 listopada, w kościele św. Józefata w śródmieściu Detroit odbyła się uroczysta Msza św. odpustowa, którą uczczono patrona tegoż kościoła - wspomnianego św. Józefata. Ale nie była to jedyna okazja. Mszą świętowano także 10-lecie kapłaństwa ks.
