Subject: FW: 8/16 Seminar in Spokane: Cultivating Resilient Communities
To:

This year’s Urban Forestry Seminar, titled “Cultivating Resilient Communities” will held on Wednesday, August 16th from 8:30 – 12:00 at the John A. Finch Arboretum. There is no cost to attend however we ask for an RSVP to reserve a seat. To RSVP, either reply to this message or send a new email to urban_f...@dnr.wa.gov and indicate that you wish to attend in Spokane.

This year’s program uses community trees and forests as a lens through which to view the important, community-wide issue of resilience. We feel this topic is best suited to planners, administrators and other decision-makers, though we expect others will find value in it as well. For more details about this program, please check out the article featured in [DNR's] on-line newsletter, the Tree Link.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to others you know who may be interested.
