Hi everyone,
I saw a classified ad in Spokesman for free pavers and called. Turns out it is the City Water Dept., located at Foothills Dr. and 1/2 block east of Hamilton/Nevada. They said there are some left, Go in the front drive, follow the road and take a left at the back fence. I talked to Phil, he said we would want them but need a place other than the garden to stockpile them, and someone to get them. He is headed out of town, can anyone help with this? My number is 842-8406 if anyone wants more info.
Thanks! The water department number is 625-7851. I told them I was inquiring for the Polly Judd community garden.

Jim be I have a long driveway at the Dharma Dorm (1024 W 11th Ave. Spokane, WA 99204) that could be used to store pavers if a location closer to the park is not volunteered.

Unfortunately we are too booked to help with pick up and drop off.

Let us know when the pavers are being deposited if you need our storage site so we can be sure to get our cars out of the way.

Robynn,

Thanks for sending out the information about the pavers. I am not available to help out this weekend and I’m sure they will go fast! If someone agrees to store they for the Community Garden, please remember to store them on pallets. You can look at the pallets on Laura’s property to estimate how many pavers per pallet. This will not be  a quick turnaround – so make sure you want to keep the pavers for an extended period of time.

Sincerely,

Patricia
