So I've had this original 500GB Xbox One since the end of 2014. I last played Halo MCC around Thursday-Friday (April 22/23). I went to play on it again today but the Xbox wouldn't turn on. The power supply had a steady orange light and was plugged into a power strip that the LCD + an external hard drive are plugged into.
The first thing you want to check is your power cable. Make sure that your power cable is fully plugged into your Xbox. If it is securely placed in your console, then ensure that your cable is plugged into your outlet. If your power cable is plugged into the console and the wall it should turn on.
