9/11 Why we need a new, thorough, and independent investigation.
Some 118 Firefighters reported hearing explosions coming from the
World Trade Center buildings. Over 100 witnesses reported hearing
explosions and flashes of light. Many of these witnesses were
videotaped by the news media. There was no discussion in the NIST
report about these accounts of explosions. NIST stated that there was
no evidence of explosions, so they saw no need to look into this
issue. Yet, analysis of video tapes of the collapse of the Twin Towers
showed that sections of the steel perimeter beams were forced
laterally at 60 mph some 600 feet during the collapse. Gravity only
pulls things downward, so explosions can only explain this movement.
Fire protection laws required under NFPA 921 requires fire
investigator to test of explosive residue, yet this was not done by
NIST.
A steel beam six inches thick bent without cracks. The hydrocarbon and
jet fuel fire can only get about 750 degrees F hot. This is not hot
enough for a steel beam to be bent without leaving cracks in the
steel. The massive core columns in the Twin Towers were designed to
carry three times the weight of the upper floors (the load) and the
perimeter columns were designed to carry five dimes their load.
One week after the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings,
aerial photos of 4,000 degree F. hot spots found in the ground zero
wreckage. A fire chief stated eight weeks after 9/11 the steel was
still at about 1,500 degree F., red hot and fire fighter had to spray
fire holes on the wreckages to cool the steel. Fire fighters and
construction workers reported seeing white-yellow hot liquid steel in
the wreckage.
Holes were discovered in a 5/8th inch thick steel beams in the
wreckage. These holes could only have occurred due to melting of the
steel. The melting point of typical structural steel is ~1510ºC
(2750ºF). FEMA reported finding a half inch thick steel beam that had
been melted and evaporated. USGSfound microscopic iron spheres in six
percent of the World Trade Center dust. This could only happen due to
the vaporizing of steel.
A massive rock/bolder composed of steel and concrete was with other
wreckage. It was about 5 feet X 5 feet X 3 feet. The only way it could
have been made was due to liquid steel pooling and then cooling solid.
Very little concrete was found in the wreckage because it was
pulverized. Each floor in the Twin Towers was a acre large and was
made up of a four inch thick, layer of concrete. Sections of these
concrete floors should have been found in the wreckage, but were not
found.
