I wanted to let you all know about a new documentary film, EMPIRES,
being made by artist and filmmaker Marc Lafia.

Empires explores the impact of networks on histories and philosophies
of political thought. We have spent the last year interviewing an
extraordinary array of leading international thinkers on the
informative ideas, philosophies, and technologies, including social
and capital movements, that have shaped our sciences and social
structures in our networked world. Featured in the film are Manuel
DeLanda, Michael Hardt, Saskia Sassen and many others.

I invite you to post to the Empires Facebook page, thoughts on
philosophy, life, history.....I know you are rich with ideas and
passions. And the project is really setup as an open mike. So please
share your thoughts and amplify the conversation.

We are also trying to raise money for the project via Kickstarter. If
