Have any of you heard of or looked into a group called "No
Labels" ( http://nolabels.org ) ? Sounds sane, but I'm always
suspicious of 'the man behind the curtain'. Is this really a non-
partisan group, or a front for someone? I've been out of town for a
couple of weeks and hadn't heard of them until today. I don't have
time to do the research right now, so I thought I'd see what this
august body of citizens thinks......

I posted a link to an article about the No Labels group, but even
though as moderates I should be attracted to them, I'm not sure if
they aren't just more of the same pro-corporate crap that has gotten
us into this mess in the first place.

They seem sane to me, but also very general/vague and a bit uninformed.

I can't find any indication of where they get money, except for donations on their Contribute page.

I read through their blog posts, and it sounds like boiler-plate, light, fluffy language without much specifics.  But I'll take well-intentioned and naive over pro-corporate propaganda any day.

So, I'd say give them a shot.

My first response was probably more negative than I intended. I think
they attracted a some good people to their meeting (with a few
exceptions like Lieberman) and I wish them luck, and will be following
them, hoping that they really will become a moderate voice.
