Over 40 years ago we had a nemisis. The Soviet Empire and communism
were firmly ensconced on our radar and we were united in the fear of
her and the resolution to defeat her. Way back when, the Democratic
Party still loved America, but had different ideas for what was in her
best interest. OK, honest debate, no problem there. Then the Democrats
nominated a Catholic as their candidate for President of the United
States! "A Catholic!", they shrieked.
Today, the Soviet Union has been replaced by a new nemisis. It is
an enemy much more deadly and volatile than the old USSR mainly
because at least Kruschev played by a certain set of rules. Countries,
boundaries, armies and brute strength. This new enemy, radical Islam,
plays by no rules whatsoever, except the rule of mayhem, as oxymoronic
as that may sound. They don't want to be left alone, they don't want
to try to live in peace, and there are no demands that can be met
besides total subjugation or death. And neither is negotiable.
All of that being said, we have a new candidate for President of
the United States. He is Muslim by birth despite his claims to be a
practicing Christian. His father was a Muslim and his middle name is
Hussein. Oh, and he's a Democrat.
He is none other than Barack Hussein Obama, the man our own left
wing media and so-called "good Americans" have fallen in love with,
and whom they defend vigorously against the "outrageous attacks
regarding his name and heritage". It seems we are not allowed, free
speech notwithstanding, to question his Muslim background. That is
considered hateful and biased.
Enter the Republican presidential wannabe, Mitt Romney. Former
Governor Romney (R-MA), is having enough trouble with some
conservatives for stances considered to be liberal. Now he faces a new
challenge...ready for it?
He's a Mormon! (GASP!) Yes ladies and gentlemen, a God-fearing
Mormon. It has become perfectly acceptable for the press to openly
question the qualifications of a person of any Christian denomination.
Sadly, it is not only the left raising these questions, but why aren't
they defending Romney on the same grounds that they defend Obama?
Because they are giddy at the sight of the right attacking the right.
Or more accurately, Christians attacking their own. And yet not one
peep in the main stream media about the utter hypocrisy at play here.
The wheels on the bus go round and round...
And the driver is dead.
