To Trump's way of thinking, besides having a platform to go after and punish all of his "Enemies" -- ie, all of his critics and political opponents -- the whole point of being president is to rake in a shitload of money. After all, that's the point of being president of Trump Enterprises, Inc. Why should being
President of the United States be any different?
His mentor/role model Vladimir Putin used his alternating presidency/prime ministership to pull in some $200 billion, by a Forbes Magazine reckoning over a decade ago (it's probably much more by now). Why shouldn't The Donald get much more for running a much richer country?
Trump has probably heard the term "public service" at some point, and knows that it has something to do with being president. But if you were to ask him what it means, he wouldn't have the first clue.
