Mostly  the Dirtchristers, especially at first, would be concerned with freeing themselves to intrude into public life.

School prayers, and Bible readings  posting10 Commandments , statues of Jesus at City Hall, “In God We Trust” on official stationary, and the endless like.

Next up.  Tighter control and inclusion / exclusion.

Only professed Christians in public office.

Then, only them in public jobs, especially teachers.

But then comes the oppression part..
