AI Overview
No, the US government has not stated that it found aliens. Both the Pentagon and NASA have consistently reported that there is no confirmed evidence that any Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) sightings are extraterrestrial in nature. [1, 2]
Official investigations and declassified records highlight the following:
  • Official Pentagon Stance: The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) reviewed historical documents and recent sightings, concluding that there is no verifiable evidence of alien life, technology, or "non-human biologies".
  • Whistleblower Claims: In 2023, former intelligence officer David Grusch testified to Congress that the US possessed "non-human biologics". However, these claims were based entirely on second-hand accounts, and he provided no physical evidence. The Pentagon has formally denied these allegations.
  • Recent Document Releases: Despite orders to increase transparency regarding historical UAP files, official bodies maintain that the records do not contain confirmed proof of extraterrestrial life, leaving the public to draw their own conclusions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Most experts attribute unexplained aerial sightings to misidentified human-made aircraft, atmospheric anomalies, weather balloons, or sensor artifacts. You can track ongoing Pentagon research and released UAP materials directly through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office

They may well be correct about no verifiable evidence or confirmed proof..
And that is important to establish.

But at this stage it is not enough.
What out there is still unexplained but appears out of the range of the commonplace (e.g., not a balloon).
What odd phenomenon has been shown at least  to exist as an object (multiple lines of detection).
What are the unexplainable oddities that still baffle?.

The fever dream on this for people is so funny.

If an advanced species made it to Earth would mean the are FAR more advanced than us. Therefore we would not be able to keep them or it under wraps.   They would make their presence known

===========

And all the details far fetched.
Humanoid?
Multiple crashes?
All this kept secret?  And why would lots of other nations not have the same "evidence."?   They just crash here (and in Mussolini's back yard)?

Nothing exotic is explained.
But a fair number of odd occurrences are unexplained.

The Earth revolving around the sun used to be unexplained.  Science often sheds light on most things.

Agreed, just because something is currently unexplainable doesn't mean the most far-out explanation becomes plausible.
There is wisdom is being agnostic about these things.

Just as long as we always remember that lack of an explanation for something does not itself constitute an explanation. Until they're provably identified as something, UFOs remain just what they're called: Unidentified Flying Objects.

No problem with that. That's the essence of being agnostic.

Exactly. That Unidentified Flying Objects exist is apparently beyond question. But until they're identified, that's all they are.

Of course, there are also probabilities and likelihoods to consider. I'm not particularly agnostic about the existence of, say, Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, and see no reason to be any less skeptical about God/gods, angels, demons, ghosts, vampires, leprechauns, Heaven, Hell, and other supernatural things and places. Though I'm open to proof on any of them.

If they're not manning (demoning?) the flying saucers, at least they're running out government. Think of the coming midterm election as a partial exorcism.

I'm bullish on leprechauns.
I was a little iffy until I saw the artist's rendering.

Among those who were interviewed was a woman who opined that instead of a leprechaun, "[it] could be a crackhead who got hold of the wrong stuff."[5]

If crackheads are manning the UFOs, that would explain stuff like their flying off at wild angles, with no thought for the laws of inertia and aerodynamics.
