Are you cons familiar at all with basic, elementary Risk Management tenets...
In whatever situation you are looking at - be it driving a car or wolfing down cherries - you ask yourself, what is the worst thing that can happen? Then, simply, you take steps to minimize the probability of that worst thing from happening.
So, children, what is the worst thing that could happen if you, say, flood the population with easy to acquire, rapid firing, high capacity magazined, deadly weapons?
