And why on earth would they be even partially based in Ukraine, of all places?

I can see them being here, what with Trump, MAGA, and his fascist billionaire Gangsterocracy. But as awful as that is, why not even much more so in authoritarian/totalitarian countries like dictator Putin's Russia and Communist giant China?

For the time being anyway, we still have at least some semblance of democracy and Constitution-based Rule of Law left here in this country.
