The point being that if you think billionaires should have to pay taxes, or that people who work fulltime ought to make enough to feed, house and clothe their families, or that people who are not rich ought to have access to stuff like medical care and higher education, then you must want the US to be like Cuba...?

They do not have European-style Democratic Socialism in Cuba. They have Communism, which is an entirely different concept. 

If we accept the oligarchic corporate fascism that rightwingers so desperately crave for America, and that we've been moving toward under decades of conservanomics, conditions for all but a few Americans will be much like those for Cubans, except that healthcare and higher education will be privileges of the top 1% who take 99% of the wealth and power..
