No doubt the MAGA’s feel richer already,  just needed Trump to explain it to them.

“The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

Who's the "we"?

The “ elites” Trump and MAGA claim to hate.

The last time I looked, I don't own a single oil company, or even a share in one.

We don't have a nationalized/socialized oil industry in America. The United States does not produce a drop of oil. We the American people own the oil while it's still in the ground, but once it's pumped aboveground, it becomes the property of the private oil companies that drilled it, who then pay us a (small) royalty for it.

I don't doubt that Trump and his family are making gazillions from it. But regardless of what he and his MAGAs believe, the Trump Family making money and the United States making money are not the same thing...

BINGO!

Whatever else there is to be said about Donald Trump, the fact that he somehow managed to convince tens of millions of voters that he's a "populist" -- and did it TWICE! -- is probably the single slickest con job in the history of Flim-Flam.

We are Oil companies.  He seems not to understand they are not federally owned companies.  I know he wants to expand his socialist views, but they are private...................for now.

Good for Alaskans. That socialist state hands out oil dividend checks every year to every man woman and child.
