If the races were treated equal since time began there may not be an argument.

There was a time that the races were equal when they were discouvering fire and tools.

The natives of Africa were left alone until the whites had advanced and needed and set sail find it.

The natives were not smart enough to do anymore than the hard labor to extract it as they did not progress so their backs were cheap.

Look at the Saudis and oil most likely our corporations of the time used us as their main work force to build the machinery along with building pipelines and any other thing that was needed for the task.

After a while we brought the elites sons here and educated them in at least in the fields that were needed.

As time went on and the rest of the world became educated they started suppling the labor as it was cheaper to go else where rather than using the more expensive.

Can't say that we did not have people that did not have a place that was most likely in supervision or other fields that we have to complete the work.

If you have ever watched Dubai and their building of their playground you would see what I mean as the help was from places like India.
