Catherine O’Hara, a veteran actor who starred in “Home Alone,” “Schitt’s Creek” and “Best in Show,” has died, her manager confirmed to Variety. She was 71.

I loved her!  She was great in Schitt's Creek.

Not that I've seen any of those, and the face doesn't ring a bell, but what did she die of?

I'm always a little morbidly curious when it's someone around my age (I'm 74). Did she die of anything in particular, or have we reached that time of life yet where "natural causes" (or the dread "old age") is all the "cause" one needs to hear?

What I don't like is when a person has a disease but refuses to specify (i.e. Catherine of the royal family).  Many times, knowing that a public figure has the same disease as you, gives you hope and a feeling that you are not alone.  Selena Gomez has lupus (she had a kidney transplant because of lupus).   She is our idol.
