Because invading and occupying a medium size American city with 3,000 heavily armed, masked ICE agents (the local police only number 600), with a green light to do anything they want, who go around grabbing people out of their cars, schools, workplaces and homes without warrants, demand at random to see their "papers", beat them up, "disappear" them, and even kill them, not only with total impunity, but with assurances that their superiors will lie for, defend, and even praise them, like Trump did his 1500 January 6 "peaceful love patriots"... why, it's just like a little love-pat on the cheek....
