Being the origial inhabitor does though, eh, adolph? >>
Who do you think the "original inhabitors" were?
<<So this is the first official use of “Palestine” as a political/geographical term>>
So, the Palestinians are just "squatters", because they've only been the majority population there a "mere" 18 centuries?
Unlike, say, England, which has only been inhabited and run by English people (Anglo-Saxons) since the 6th century CE. Or this country, continent and hemisphere, which has only been called "America" since the 16th century CE.
Between the 2nd century CE and the 20th century CE, Jews were only a relatively small minority in the Levant.
BTW: The original name of the land now called "Israel" was "Canaan", inhabited primarily by Phoenicians, Philistines, and other non-Jewish Semitic peoples (like the Arabs).
According to the Jewish people's own Bible, the ancient Israelites were commanded by their tribal deity, Yahweh, to invade the land and steal it from its owners, slaughtering "every man, woman, child, and beast in the land" on their way (history's first known account of genocide).
