Responsibilities
Design and develop platform infrastructure components, including
storage systems, libraries and frameworks.
Ensure the reliability, scalability and efficiency of platform
infrastructure components.
Build storage systems, libraries and frameworks.
Code primarily in Scala, Java, C/C++ and/or JavaScript.
Conduct design and code reviews.
Work in a dynamic team oriented environment using agile methodologies.

Requirements
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Experience developing and debugging in Scala, Java and/or C++ in a
Linux environment.
Understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming, data
structures, and algorithms.
Understanding of the concepts in developing and deploying large-scale
web infrastructure and distributed systems.
Knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python a plus.
Experience with network protocols, Protocol Buffers, and/or Thrift a
plus.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new ideas.
