The transition from childhood to adulthood is always challenging for young women, both physically and emotionally. In Wet Monday, fifteen-year-old Klara faces an unexpected trauma and grapples with how to regain her lost faith in the future. This loss of innocence often equates to a loss of invulnerability and wholeness. In the film, it is a group of unlikely friends, whose surprising empathy—enhanced by the rich traditions of Polish Easter celebrations—ultimately helps restore her face the challenge. Read more HERE

Gabriela Muskała is one of the leading Polish film and theater actresses, also successful as a screenwriter and director. She has collaborated with figures such as Agnieszka Holland, Marek Koterski, and Jan Jakub Kolski. Her directorial debut, Jesters (Błazny), for which she also wrote the screenplay, earned her a fifth nomination for the Polish Orzeł, this time for Best Director in the "Discovery of the Year" category.

Zbigniew Zamachowski is renowned film and theater actor, composer, and singer. With two Polish Academy Awards for Best Actor to his name, his career spans hundreds of notable Polish films and collaborations with iconic directors such as Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Jerzy Hoffman, and Robert Gliński. Zamachowski is the Festival special guest as the composer of film score for Jesters.
