While some Polish Nobel laureates, such as Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Czesław Miłosz, Wisława Szymborska, Olga Tokarczuk, and Lech Wałęsa are household names, there are many more exceptional Nobel Prize laureates who rose from the Polish-Jewish heritage.

The exhibition highlights the extraordinary achievements of twelve remarkable Polish Jewish Nobel laureates through the illustrations by Marta Chrobak. Innovative visual installations crafted from fabric bring their stories to life, connecting their scientific, artistic, and political legacies with their cultural roots and personal journeys.


The exhibition presents the profiles of the following Nobel Prize laureates:

Leonid Hurwicz – Nobel Prize in Economics (2007),

Józef Rotblat – Nobel Peace Prize (1995),

Shimon Peres – Nobel Peace Prize (1994),

Georges Charpak – Nobel Prize in Physics (1992),

Roald Hoffmann – Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1981),

Isaac Bashevis Singer – Nobel Prize in Literature (1978),

Menachem Begin – Nobel Peace Prize (1978),

Andrew Schally – Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine (1977),

Tadeusz Reichstein – Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine (1950),

Isidor Rabi – Nobel Prize in Physics (1944),

Henri Bergson – Nobel Prize in Literature (1927),

Albert Michelson – Nobel Prize in Physics (1907)

Dr. Roald Hoffmann, Honorary Trustee of the Kosciuszko Foundation, and a member of the KF Collegium of Eminent Scientists, will deliver special video remarks during the opening reception.

The event will also feature a short musical performance by violinist Agata Miklavc and pianist Jason Solounias, presenting the works by Mieczysław Weinberg and Roman Ryterband.

The exhibition is curated by Dr. Izabela Jurczyk. The visual identity was developed by
