Extreme Chopin: A Finale Preview!

Sunday, March 29 at 5:00 PM

Kosciuszko Foundation Washington DC Center

2025 O Street NW. Washington, DC 20036

As acclaimed pianist Brian Ganz approaches the final concert of his remarkable 16-year journey performing the complete works of Fryderyk Chopin at the Music Center at Strathmore, he will offer the Kosciuszko Foundation community an intimate and exclusive preview of this culminating recital.

The program will showcase some of Chopin’s most exquisite late works, including the luminous Barcarolle and the delicate Berceuse. Audiences will also enjoy rarely performed gems such as the sparkling Rondo in C major for solo piano, Op. 73, composed when Chopin was just 18, along with a short yet passionate waltz only recently discovered in a New York City library.

This unique event offers a rare opportunity to experience these masterpieces up close in an intimate setting. Wine reception will follow the concert.
