Dear members,
As I have frequently emphasized throughout the past four years of my service as President of this esteemed organization, we are an all-volunteer group that functions thanks not only to the generosity of our membership, but also thanks to the dedication of a handful of officers and board members who give their time, energy, and passion to promote our common culture and ensure that our traditions continue.
Volunteerism is hard work, but it is also rewarding as we know that we are contributing to popular celebrations such as Wianki on the National Mall that are mainstays for Polonia in Washington, DC, or helping ensure that our generous scholarship program continues to give back to the next generation of Polonia.
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary this year, please consider taking on an active role in PAAA and help us write the next chapter of our storied organization.
We are actively seeking members to join our board and/or officers. We especially need someone with some experience in financial tracking or record keeping.
