Dear Kosciuszko Foundation DC Members and Friends, Please join us for the following events: KF Next-Gen for “Dziady” – Historical Context and Networking Sunday, November 2 | 5–7 PM KF Next-Gen invites you to its inaugural Dziady Event and Happy Hour — an evening that blends tradition with modern connection. "Dziady" (“Forefathers”) is a famous drama by Adam Mickiewicz, a cornerstone of Polish literature and culture, rooted in an ancient tradition of commemorating ancestors. Young professionals are welcome to enjoy snacks and drinks while learning about this rich cultural heritage. Network in a warm, festive atmosphere honoring heritage, community, and the spirit of togetherness.  Special Presentation: Dr. Krzysztof Lyson, member of the Board of Trustees of the Kosciuszko Foundation, will deliver a brief talk on the history of "Dziady", focusing on its 1967 premiere in Warsaw.  KF Next-Gen is a new initiative dedicated to connecting the next generation of Polish Americans and friends of Poland through a dynamic mix of education, professional development, networking, social engagement, and intergenerational mentorship.
