Financial Engineer 

Global Valuation Ltd. is a fast growing financial technology firm operating in the field of counterparty risk analytics evaluation. As new regulatory requirements are introduced in the financial industry,  our clients are facing increasing quantitative and technology challenges. We provide an innovative software-hardware solution, based on a highly multi-threaded in-memory architecture, leveraging on multiple GPU co-processors and implementing cutting edge mathematical models and methodologies.

We are looking for young, talented and motivated fresh graduates in a quantitative field (Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics). Basic knowledge of finance is desirable and proficiency in an Object Oriented programming language (C# is a plus) is required. Since the software is highly mathematical, a successful applicant will have achieved top grades in Mathematics and Physics courses.

The role involves programming in C# in the counterparty credit risk space. You will work in a team to implement and develop new models in our flagship software GVL Esther and GVL Athena. You will work closely with the head of development and you will have the  opportunity to learn about financial modelling applied using new technologies.

Successful candidates will be initially offered a 6 month temporary contract to be followed by permanent employment. We provide training and an attractive compensation package commensurate to skills.
