| This webinar held by André Hau shows the functionality of the MeltFlipper technology - an optimization of the gating system for multiple cavities.
In multiple cavities with cold runner gating, there is always unbalanced filling and thus surface defects, different warpage, uneven mechanical load capacity up to rejects. But also economic issues such as increased pressure or clamping force requirements and generally a narrow process window are the result. By using the patented MeltFlipper technology, these imbalances in the mold can be prevented and thus the quality of the parts can be significantly increased from the beginning.

| The last webinar is held by Benjamin Wittmann and it gives a short introduction into the new Fusion 360 simulation extension with a focus on 'Fusion Injection Molding'.
This new software extension provides a quick and easy possibility to simulate fill and pack behaviour of plastic parts without having to switch between CAD and simulation software. Fusion 360 - the first next generation cloud based product development software of its kind - enables many injection molding features from weld line and air trap analyses, filling and packing behaviour, as well as volumetric shrinkage up to the final warpage. | |
