AIPAC just lost its first 2026 primary

AIPAC officially lost its first 2026 primary election yesterday.
After dropping more than $2 million in New Jersey’s 11th congressional district, AIPAC and its network of super PACs’ candidate lost…badly.
The pro-Israel lobby group hoped that in a more purple district, voters wouldn’t be turned off by their pro-genocide policies and Republican megadonors — but as always, they are deeply out of step with the Democratic electorate.
That’s exactly why they have to spend millions of dollars in elections to elect their candidates, because their policies and politicians are not actually popular.
This is a clear rejection of AIPAC by Democratic voters — the group’s spending and support for candidates is becoming a kiss of death in primaries because of the work our movement has done to expose them.
Now, we can be sure that AIPAC spending this cycle will be done through more backchannels, shell PACs, and covert tactics – like they’re already doing against our candidate Junaid Ahmed in IL-08 — to further obscure their attempts to buy our democracy.
So we need to be clear-eyed and ready to expose their corrupt tactics.
