Here’s how to fight back.

Policy Practice 2008,   I hope you got a chance to read Sulma Arias’s new article in Nonprofit Quarterly about the important ways we are shifting our strategy to meet the challenges of this moment. If you haven’t yet, please read and share it with your friends!   Her main message? That it’s up to us to protect democracy, while we still can.   We will not take the erosion of our rights lying down: we will stand together. If we do this, we can turn back the rise of authoritarianism and lay the groundwork for a more accountable democracy.   Starting with our call for AT&T to stop providing support to ICE and other federal agencies that unlawfully deny rights and threaten our families, we are taking bold action to challenge those who seek to profit from an authoritarian regime.   So please sign our petition to tell AT&T CEO John Stankey that it’s time to Drop ICE!   In the coming months, we will have more opportunities to take action together, with our growing family of allies.
