I’m a little worried
Hi — It’s Yasmin, Gina Hinojosa’s digital director.
I recently had a meeting with Gina and the team, and I’m going to be honest with you — I’m a little worried.
We’re falling behind on our May fundraising goal, and we can’t afford to lose momentum now.
With the race officially set, this is the moment we should be scaling up our outreach and organizing, not scrambling to play catch-up.
Frankly, weekends are when fundraising usually slows down, which is why I’m reaching out today.
Gina is doing her part. She’s traveling the state, meeting voters face-to-face, and making the case for a Texas that works for working families.
My job is to make sure this campaign has the grassroots support to back her up. And right now, we need a surge of donations between now and tomorrow at midnight to close the gap and hit our goal.
