Children’s Voice is CWLA’s seasonal magazine covering national, state, and local news and issues that affect children, youth, and families. By publishing a diverse range of views on a wide array of topics, the magazine seeks to encourage public discussion and debate among those who are committed to helping children and families.
We currently are seeking submissions for our spring 2026 issue. Features are in-depth treatments of issues and events that affect children, youth, and families and those who work with them or on their behalf.
The tone is professional but informal. Recent features have focused on working with children and youth who are unaccompanied immigrants, advancing digital safety for young “content creators,” youth with foster care experience in higher education, resource parents’ motivations, and much more.
We’d love to highlight programs, practices, and initiatives that you’ve been working on! To submit, please first send an article proposal to Rachel Adams, Children’s Voice editor, at rad...@cwla.org.
