As you know, Michigan's Republican Senate primary is coming up soon. And in the weeks before the race, GOP candidates in our race and others are talking to people trying to capture something called "voter IDs."
A "voter ID" is just a simple declaration of support from potential voters.
It is a campaign contacting a voter, and a voter saying "Yes, I support you," or "no, I am supporting someone else."
These replies are the foundation of any campaign, because it’s how we know where our supporter base exists and who we need to turn out in November.
Before the election, campaigns try to make sure their stated supporters vote. And at other times — especially when a candidate needs it most — they will turn to those supporters for help.
So today, we are doing the same. We are asking you to add your name as a "Personal Endorser" of Elissa Slotkin's campaign for Senate. It's a small and simple act, but it will speak volumes about the grassroots support for our campaign:
