Willie Nelson is a legendary musician, but to us, he represents the true embodiment of what it means to be a Texan.
For decades, Republican leaders have constantly tried to paint our state as far-right and extreme.
But Willie embodies the absolute best of who we really are — the idea that you can be a cowboy, a rancher, a weirdo, or whatever you want to be, as long as you are just a good human being.
Throughout his life, Willie has never been afraid to use his voice for everyday people, and that’s the exact campaign I’m trying to build.
