A new shadow super PAC linked to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and AIPAC is spending against Justice Democrats-endorsed Nida Allam in NC-04.
Nida is the progressive, working-class candidate challenging corporate-backed incumbent Rep. Valerie Foushee in Tuesday’s Democratic primary election.
Foushee received millions in support from AIPAC’s network in her previous races. Now, she claims she’s not taking money from the right-wing funded Israel lobby group. But just like they’re doing in other primaries, AIPAC is finding shady backdoor ways to spend against our candidates and influence these races.
In this case, reporters believe that AIPAC is donating to Jeffries’ PAC, then funneling it to Article One PAC, which is tied to a billionaire AIPAC donor. According to Sludge, this super PAC just dropped $600,000 on ads supporting Foushee. And this is on top of the $1.5 million that an AI super PAC already pumped into this race!
Why are the Democratic establishment, AIPAC, and Big Tech so desperate to defeat Nida? Because she rejects all corporate PAC money and will fight to end U.S. support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza, hold AI companies accountable and stop new data centers — like the one proposed in her district — and put working-class people before corporate profits.
In solidarity,
