A new study, published in Criminology, offers groundbreaking evidence that both a shooter’s intent and the caliber of firearm used play a critical role in determining whether school shootings result in death. Using original data from The American School Shooting Study, Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium Affiliate Scholar Brent R.
